Parents are the experts on their children and as your
childminder I will NEVER try to take over the role of the parent or to
see myself as a substitute parent. Respect is shown for family
traditions and childcare practices, values and wishes of the parents, as
far as is possible in the context of caring for children from several
families. The daily diary provides a link between home and our home-based setting. We actively encourage you to write anything you think we need to know in your child's diary and hope it provides a full account of their day with us.
We aim to provide an excellent service for you and your child and it is important to us that you feel our service is of the highest quality. We are open from 7am until 7pm Monday to Friday also some hours at weekends; Other times may be available on request. I take 4 weeks unpaid holiday per year and all public holidays. You will be informed of the dates as far in advance as possible. I have a list of policies which are available to view on request and are provided as part of your welcome pack, on signing of contracts. All Clients must sign a contractual agreement with us to enable the provision of childcare services to you. This is for the protection of both the parents and myself and also ensures that your child is covered by our insurance. We encourage potential clients to view a few different childcare settings before choosing one. However, from experience you will often know very quickly who you want to leave your child with and where. We would very much like for you to come and view our home and see for yourself the service we offer. You may want to bring a list of questions with you to ensure that you don’t forget to ask anything important! |
